September 1 is an exciting day for everyone who studies and teaches, for whom new knowledge is an integral part of life. On this day, according to a good tradition, the university meets a new addition to the friendly family of USATU
The Day of Knowledge began on the main square near the plane with a raising of the flag to the anthem of the Russian Federation.
The first-year students were greeted by the Rector of the University Sergey Novikov:
"Dear Guys! You passed all the entrance tests with honor and now you have a rich, interesting student life ahead of you. A new path opens up for you, a new stage of development.
Today, deep knowledge, the ability to think creatively, generate interesting ideas, understand technological trends are the most important conditions for individual success, business development and the economy as a whole. And the education that you will receive at the university will open the way for you to the intended goal and the realization of your dream.
I am sure that the next page in the history of our university, which will celebrate its 90th anniversary this year, will be connected with your names and your achievements.
Be curious, proactive, and actively participate in university life. I wish you success in your studies and the realization of the most daring plans. Welcome to UGATU!
Mister and Miss USATU - 2022 Vyacheslav Kabirov and Anastasia Shchekoldina addressed the first-year students with parting words, wishing the guys to look only ahead and not be afraid to try something new. They also presented FIR freshman Artem Parfyonov with a symbolic student card. In turn, Artyom read out the oath of freshmen, which was unanimously repeated by a thousand-strong team of newly minted students.
Those gathered on the square were congratulated by the chairman of the student trade union committee Robert Valiev:
“You are on the threshold of a new interesting life, today it is time for you to storm, dare, create!”
To loud applause, the trade union leader presented the symbol of the first scholarship - a diploma of a scholarship holder of the Presidium of the Bashkir Republican Organization of the Trade Union of Public Education and Science Workers of the Russian Federation to student Alina Kunafina.
The celebration ended with an incendiary dance from the Watermelons Crew team.
Then the tutors led the children to a meeting with the deans and directors of the institutes.
