The university project "ProfVzlet Center for Promotion of Professional Growth of Young Scientists and Postgraduates" became the winner of the grant competition of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs and received support in the amount of 950,000 rubles.

This year, the jury of the Rosmolodezh grant competition received 2,422 projects from 354 educational institutions from 80 regions of Russia. 373 projects from 173 universities of the country are recommended for grants.

Three experts according to a whole list of criteria evaluated each project. The experience and competence of the project team, its relevance and social significance, the scale of implementation and potential, the uniqueness and targeting of the proposed solution to the problem, and much more mattered.

Oleg Shiryaev, head of the USATU project, chairperson of the council of young scientists, associate professor of the Department of Economic Informatics, says:

“The Center for Promotion of Professional Growth of Young Scientists and Postgraduate Students “ProfVzlet” is aimed at the formation and development of supra professional skills of young scientists and postgraduate students of USATU and universities of Ufa. What does it mean to compensate for the lack of scientific, professional, social competencies of scientifically oriented youth; development of leadership skills and motivation for teaching, research, innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as training in mentoring practices and academic skills.

The main activity of the center is to conduct educational seminars, trainings and master classes of famous scientists, teachers, leaders of industry and science. To implement these activities, it is planned to create a permanent communication platform based on USATU - the Center for Promoting the Professional Growth of Young Scientists and Postgraduates ProfVzlet.

Within the framework of this project, we plan to organize three large-scale events: the School of the popularizer of youth science, entrepreneurship and industrial tourism; School of Leadership and Mentoring; School of Academic Skills".
