Associate Professor Alexey N. Elizaryev is

Associate Professor of Safety in Manufacturing and Industrial Ecology

within Civil Defence and Emergency Management Faculty and

Associate Professor of the Department of Fire Protection at the Ufa State Aviation Technical University.

 

 

Alexey Elizaryev graduated with a Dipl.-Ing. (Hons) in Civil Defence and Emergency Management

from Ufa State Aviation Technical University in 2003,

and also gained with Dipl.-Mgmt. (Hons) in State and Municipal Management

from Russian State Social University (Moscow) in 2009.

 

 

He was undertaking the doctoral research work

at Russian State Hydrometeorological University (St. Petersburg) in 2003,

where he obtained his Ph.D. on Geoscience: Geoecology

 

 

He then spent two years at Ufa State Aviation Technical University as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow

during joining the Department of Safety in Manufacturing and Industrial Ecology in 2004

as an Associate Research Fellow.

 

 

He was working in the Department of Safety in Manufacturing and Industrial Ecology in 2005,

gaining Teaching Assistant position in 2006,

a Senior Lectureship, 

an Associate Professorial status in 2008.

 

 

He was elected a Senior Research Fellow of the Department of Safety in Manufacturing and Industrial Ecology

in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2018

gaining Associate Professorial status in 2014.

He acted as Associate Head of Department for Research at the Department of Safety in Manufacturing and Industrial Ecology

since 2008 till 2014.

 

 

 

He is currently Dean of Civil Defence and Emergency Management Faculty

Associate Professor of Safety in Manufacturing and Industrial Ecology and

Associate Professor of the Department of Fire Protection.

 

 

His research interests center on investigating Environmental Sustainability and Sustainable Development,

Process Safety and Loss Prevention,

Industrial Ecology,

Water Engineering area:  Land and Water Management, Measurement and Instrumentation,

Water Quality,

Water Conservation.

 

 

Associate Professor Alexey Elizaryev is a nationally recognized expert in Environmental Sustainability and Sustainable Development,

with 15 years  of work experience in this area.

 

 

An organizer and presenter at numerous international, regional seminars and conferences and

recipient of a number of national professional awards.

 

 

Associate Professor Elizaryev is well connected within the Environmental Sustainability and Sustainable Development community;

linkages with academia, research centers, industry and regulators

via professional institutions and industry bodies

and he has national experience of leading and working with professional and industry bodies.

 

 

He also has experience of developing and working with internal networks within large global organisations.

Associate Professor Elizaryev has regular contact with and numerous opportunities to work with academics from education institutions across Russia and Europe via the RB Ministry of Ecology ‘s Public Council, RF’s Geography Society, the Institute for Water Problems of RF Academy of Sciences

and has extensive experience of developing and delivering Environmental Sustainability training courses around the country.

He often participates in a summit conferences as a course director for delivering process safety to senior executives and members of the board.

 

 

He has a broad international experience, covering most parts of the country and region

 and working with professional engineers from many different backgrounds,

he has experience of working in the water engineering, regulatory, aerospace sectors.

As a Member of the House (RB Public House of the fourth convocation), Chairman of the Committee On Agricultural Problems, Ecology and Nature Management in a leading region organization, he is responsible for setting major sustainable development policy

and therefore has a broad knowledge of the organizational and operational aspects of major companies and experience of dealing with people at all levels up to National Ministry.

 Associate Professor Elizaryev is current member of the Middle Volga Public Committee of territorial administration of RF Fishing Regulatory Body.
