Top managers of the power-engineering giant visited the turbine room and laboratories of the Nanotech Shared Materials Research Center. We visited the SDTB "Surface" Research Institute "Electrotechnology", where they were acquainted with a set of equipment for ion-plasma modification of surfaces of aircraft parts. Then the guests were shown laboratories of advanced additive and foundry technologies for the manufacture of products and parts for aviation.
At the Power Machines student design bureau, jointly created with the company, the production workers were awaited by the students who had passed the competitive selection at the SDB and are now participating in solving specific problems in the interests of the customer. The beautiful, modern space of SDB is equipped with the most powerful top-end computer equipment, multimedia facilities and comfortable workplaces.
