SuperJob has presented the ranking of Russian universities in 2022 in terms of salaries of young professionals employed in the IT industry who graduated from universities in 2016-2021. The highest places in the ranking were occupied by universities, whose graduates became Nobel laureates, and whose students are winners of the largest international student competitions.
This year's rating includes two Ufa universities at once: Ufa State Aviation Technical University and Bashkir State University.
Ufa State Aviation Technical University took 16th place. The average salary of its graduates increased by 10,000 rubles over the year and now stands at 120,000 rubles a month.
Bashkir State University took the 20th place this year; last year it did not make it into the rankings. On average, university graduates in IT receive 100,000 rubles.
In total, there are 20 places in the ranking, which are distributed this year among 71 universities. The leader of the rating is the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (National Research University). The average earnings of MIPT graduates increased by 20,000 rubles (+9%) over the year and amounted to 250,000 rubles per month. In second place - Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov, rising one step up compared to 2021. Moscow State University is the leader in terms of annual growth in graduate salaries (+30,000 rubles or 17%).
In third place - Moscow State Technical University. N.E. Bauman, St. Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics (ITMO) and the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI. Their 2016-2021 graduates earn an average of 200,000 rubles a month. Among regional universities outside of Moscow and St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk State University (NSU) ranked sixth with an average salary of 170 thousand rubles.
