On April 7, 2022, the USATU delegation went to the traditional spring career guidance event in the village of Tolbazy, Aurgazinsky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan. There, at the initiative of the Education Department of the District Administration, a meeting of graduates with representatives of higher educational institutions and professional educational organizations of Bashkiria was organized.
At the meeting, applicants were able to get to know the educational institutions of the republic better. Representatives of eight universities and three colleges spoke about specialties and directions, living conditions in hostels, and the number of budget places. This year, 95 eleventh-graders and 349 ninth-graders are graduating in the Aurgazinsky district. They have to make an important decision - to choose a further place of study. In general, over 400 students of the district took part in the event.
The young men were especially interested in the exhibition of small arms, which was brought by the delegation of USATU. The senior teacher of the military training center, Major V.A. Trofimov, told the children in detail about the rules and conditions for receiving military training at the USATU, the process of training future officers and soldiers at the MEC, about the benefits of obtaining a military education, in parallel with a civilian specialty. Stickers with USATU symbols, advertising booklets of faculties and institutes aroused considerable interest.
At the meeting, representatives of universities and SVE organizations spoke about their educational institutions, speeches were accompanied by presentations and videos.
On the same day, in the village of Tolbazy, representatives of the USATU held another career guidance event. Analyst of the Department for work with entrants of the USATU A.A. Kireeva conducted field career guidance work with tenth-graders of the lyceum. During the meeting, Aigul Albertovna spoke about the importance of choosing a profession. Then, in a playful way, she introduced them to the faculties and institutes of the university, and the participants “tried on” modern professions. In addition, high school students learned about the benefits of studying at USATU, received answers to their questions.
According to the head of the career guidance department of USATU SA Lee, such events allow applicants to understand their preferences and help make an informed choice better.
