A new training exhibit has appeared at the aviation equipment parking lot of the Ufa State Aviation Technical University - the Su-34 supersonic fighter-bomber.
According to NATO codification, the machine has the designation Fullback - "Defender", and in the army, the aircraft is affectionately called the "duckling" for the characteristic shape of the flattened nose cone. The unique machine combines three aircraft at once: a fighter, an attack aircraft and a front-line bomber. It can successfully fight against any air targets, effectively destroy ground and surface ones.
The last years of service, the aircraft with the number 01 spent in the State Flight Test Center of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation named after V.P. Chkalov (Akhtubinsk, Astrakhan Region). The aircraft is one of the first in this series: it first took to the skies in 2006. Now it will become a textbook for university students.
