Kirill Karpov (gr. AD-2221), a member of the UGATU Racing Team, a student of the Ufa Aviation College , became the winner of the Rosmolodezh.Grants micro-grant competition from the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.
The grant makes it possible to organize regional karting competitions "Karting Republic". Schoolchildren and students from all over Bashkiria will be able to take part in the events, who will learn the basics of safe driving and practice the skills of maneuvering and passing the race track. Also, the guys will increase the reaction speed and develop engineering thinking.
In the near future, competitions will be held with the participation of the USATU Racing Team and the support of USATU, educational lectures will also be organized.
By the way, our winner Kirill Karpov is only 17 years old, he has been in the racing team for half a year, but he has far-reaching plans:
- I received a grant for the first time, but I think that this is a serious victory: at my age, few students win federal competitions. Of course, everything turned out thanks to the participation and help of the guys from the engineering racing team UGATU Racing Team, its leaders. Although I confess, there were several sleepless nights and many edits to the application.
The project itself is aimed at promoting science and technical sports among schoolchildren and students by the methods of karting races. The project also includes a series of lectures on road safety and vehicle design. Implementation of the activities is scheduled for spring 2023. I count on support from USATU and UAC!
