On March 24, USATU hosted the traditional spring Career Day - 2022. The event was held in a mixed format: online and offline.
Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Aleksey Elizariev greeted students and graduates of USATU:
- Today, our students will have the opportunity to communicate directly with potential employers, and representatives of enterprises will be able to replenish their human resources.
USATU provides training for qualified engineering personnel in the aircraft engine industry, specialists in the field of IT technologies and robotics, in the field of security, marketing and management, economics and taxes, and officers of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
Today, the country is in demand for specialists trained in line with the development of modern scientific thought, ready not only to apply the acquired knowledge and skills, but also to constantly improve. Modern production needs universal workers with knowledge at the intersection of sciences: engineering and medicine, chemistry and electro mechanics. Not to mention information technologies, which today reduce literally all areas of application of human knowledge.
USATU has always prepared and will train such specialists.
Our graduates are traditionally in demand by employers. This is facilitated not only by their high-quality training, but also by the extensive partnerships of our university with industrial giants and organizations in other fields of activity.
I emphasize that the list of enterprises and organizations with which the university cooperates is constantly expanding and has long gone beyond the borders of Bashkortostan.
I hope that today employers will be able to attract the attention of graduates, outline the requirements that apply to potential applicants, and personnel services will be able to discern their future specialist.
I want to say: you have a great opportunity not only to present yourself, to make a choice, but already today to decide the place of undergraduate practice, decide on the topic of the final qualifying work and establish close ties with the future employer.
Within two hours, 40 companies participating in the USATU Career Day presented their videos on the VKontakte platform. These are leading regional and Russian enterprises and organizations of various fields of activity, such as JSC "UEC" "OMO im. P.I. Baranov, Transneft LLC, N. I. R.R. Gabdulkhakov, graduate of the FCDEM 2012:
“The most important thing in work is interest in business, and diligence, the desire to develop and gain new knowledge will automatically connect.”
S.V. Petrenko, FIR 2002 graduate:
“I advise current students to get additional knowledge not only from the university program and invite those who are interested in software development to practice with us.”
However, for successful employment and a “dream job”, you need to know the legal legislation, the basics of writing a resume, the etiquette of a business conversation, etc. Therefore, the Career Day program included events of a new format: a master class “Congratulations, you have been hired!” from Elena Nedopekina, director of the MBU "Center for the Promotion of Youth Employment" of the urban district of Ufa and the workshop "Journey from the Future to the Present" from the Center for Employment of the Ufa City, interactive "What does a recruiter look at in a resume?" from LLC RN-Bashnipineft, business game "Right Steps to Employment" from LLC BashRTS. Practical classes were held internally in the space of student creativity "Trajectory".
