On June 23, at the Pervushino airfield complex,will take place the finals of the Regional stage of the 11th Russian championship "Air Engineering School" of the Moscow State University named after M. Lomonosov and the State Corporation "Roscosmos".
At 10.00, the official opening and launches of rockets and aircraft will take place at two sites: the GIRD, UFO and UAV leagues.
Then, in the Ufa Aviation College, teams will defend their projects and the work of an expert commission to sum up the results of the championship will take place.
Organizers: Ufa Aviation College, Ufa State Aviation Technical University with the assistance of the Bashkortostan Branch of the Russian Cosmonautics Federation.
For reference: The regional stage of the Russian championship "Air Engineering School" of Moscow State University named after M. Lomonosov and the State Corporation "Roscosmos" is held in the Republic of Bashkortostan for the second time. It was held for the first time in the region in May 2021.
The purpose of the event is the development of scientific and technical creativity of young people, the development of knowledge in the specialties related to aviation and rocket and space technology. To create working models of aerospace vehicles of varying complexity, the guys go through all the stages of a technical project: from design development to the launch of aircraft.
The championship is held in the form of competitions of school and student teams. Students of grades 8-11 of general education schools, lyceums, colleges and institutions of additional education, as well as students of technical schools, universities who have registered to participate in the championship are allowed to participate. A prerequisite is the presence of a leader and a captain (from among the students) in the team.
Teams of schoolchildren and students of technical schools and universities who have successfully prepared their models of rockets, aircraft and aircraft in the GIRD, UFO and UAV leagues will participate in the finals of the 2022 championship.
(“JPSG” stands for “jet propulsion study group” - this was the name of S.P. Korolev’s group, from which the entire Soviet space project was later born.

The expert commission is formed from teachers of the Ural State Aviation Technical University, UAT, employees of aerospace enterprises with the involvement of experts from the Russian Championship of the Air Engineering School project.
For many years, students of the Ufa Aviation College and USATU have successfully participated in the championship in Moscow: in the winter - in the qualifying round, the teams defended projects, attended lectures, excursions, in the summer - in the final they launched ready-made devices. Now the championship is held in Ufa.
